We are working with the Glasgow Institute of Architects who have launched an open competition to provide alternatives to demolition and identify ideas for uses that will distinguish Cumbernauld Town Centre from others; making a successful special place; continuing its founding ambition as a visionary place to live and exploring what that is in the 21st Century; considering the retention of parts or all of the existing town centre and saving embodied carbon; providing a centre for the community.
